How the Ingredients Work
Castile Soap is a soap made up of various vegetable oils with no added animal fats or toxins. Gentle on the skin and also very versatile for all aspects of your cleaning needs!
Witch Hazel has strong antioxidant and astringent properties. It fights bacteria reduces swelling/inflammation and helps repair damaged cells. It is good for all skin conditions but especially acne prone skin.
Rose Water can be found in your local grocery store. Rose water does have anti-inflammatory/antibacterial properties that is great for acne prone skin.
Vegetable glycerin is a liquid made from various plants. Add this to the face wash to help keep your skin hydrated. It will also help your skin absorb the rest of the ingredients of the face wash for maximum benefits!
Lavender oil: helps to reduce redness and skin irritation
Copaiba essential oil: helps promotes clear, smooth skin and reduces the appearance of blemishes
Tea tree oil: has antibacterial/antifungal properties. Tea tree oil helps fight acne! I also apply it directly to breakouts. Please be careful though as some people can be sensitive to it if it is not diluted with a little fractionated coconut oil. I personally am not sensitive and can apply it directly to breakouts that occur.
Frankincense: literally the KING of oils and has so many benefits. Specifically for skin it helps the reduction of scars and improves skin tone. Good-bye acne scars!
For essential oils I recommend using only high quality essential oils. I’ve done my research and personally have gone with the company doTERRA. You can read more here about doTERRA essential oils and their numerous benefits!
